Walmart is finally bringing Tap to Pay to its checkout lanes! Starting August 24, the feature will begin rolling out at select Walmart and Sam’s Club locations, with plans to expand to all U.S. stores by the end of 2026. That means you can pay with a contactless credit or debit card, your phone, or even your smartwatch, no need to open the Walmart app at all.
Drivers, there’s more to look forward to: Walmart also plans to bring Tap to Pay to its fuel stations by mid-2027. Let us know if you spot it at your local store!
