Big news in the Amazon world! Amazon is raising the price of the annual Prime membership from $119 to $139, starting March 25th for existing members and February 18th for new members. This $20 price hike will come with added Prime exclusive benefits like more Prime Video content, and expanded free same-day shipping. The price of month to month subscriptions will increase from $12.99 to $14.99 per month. Amazon says that the reason for the price hike is rising cost of labor and transportation. The last time they raised the price of membership was 2018.
